The Life Resolutions Story
Mary Magalotti opened her first psychology practice in Brunswick in 2001. When she opened a second practice in 2003, Life Resolutions was born.
An experienced psychologist with an acute business acumen, Mary’s motivation for opening her own private practice was guided by a passion for high client engagement and outstanding client service. She invested in marketing and infrastructure to build a highly professional organisation. This resulted in increased profits that lead to the growth of Life Resolutions to a third practice.
A chance to grow
Jodie Brenton joined Mary in 2005 with an idea to grant practices to other psychologists (Business Associates). This partnership would lead Life Resolutions to the success it enjoys today.
Jodie and Mary set about achieving their goal of lifting psychology from its cottage industry image to a platform of trust and professionalism. Educating the public on the benefits of counselling and the differences between Psychologists, Counsellors and Psychiatrists was crucial to shifting this image.
