Our Application Process
The Life Resolutions Business Associate Program application process is comprehensive – and for good reason. It’s important that you have all the information to determine if the Program is the right next step for your psychology career.
Step 1 – Make Contact with Life Resolutions
If the Life Resolutions Business Associate Program is of interest to you, get in touch with us to request an information kit. You can also contact our team to ask any questions you may have at this initial stage and make an appointment to attend a BAP information session with Life Resolutions Director & Principal Psychologist, Mary Magalotti.
Step 2 – Attend an Information Session
Attending our initial information session will help us get to know each other and answer any other questions you may have. This session will cover:
- Details about the program and how it works
- An overview of our marketing strategy
- How we refer clients to you and offer ongoing support
- The Financials and
- The different business options available.
At Life Resolutions, we’re big on transparency, so we’ll even show you a Profit & Loss statement to give you insight into the earning potential of a Life Resolutions Psychology Practice.
Attending an information session will help you determine if the Business Associate Program is right for you, and will help us assess your suitability as a Life Resolutions partner. There is no commitment for either of us to continue.
Step 3 – The Interview Process
If you decide that the Business Associate Program is a good fit for you and your psychology career, then the application process moves into the interview phase. We will want to know all about you including your psychology experience, specialty skills and where your passion lies.
This is also an opportunity for you to ask any final questions of us so we can both be confident in moving forward together in a psychology business. A successful interview at this step will see you inducted into the Program.
Step 4 – Induction into the Life Resolutions family
Once your application to become a Business Associate has been successful, we provide you with an induction program and a week of training at the Life Resolutions National Support Centre. This will provide you with all you need to know about how to operate a successful Life Resolutions practice.
Step 5 – Establishment of your Life Resolutions Practice
After you have completed your induction, we’ll begin the logistics of physically establishing your practice. Our support team takes the stress out of this process by doing the hard work for you. We will assess suitable locations (or assess the suitability of your existing practice), negotiate with the landlord, organise sound proofing, furniture, IT systems, and all the finer details to get you up and running.
Step 6 – Your Practice Opens
It’s time to celebrate the launch of your new Life Resolutions practice! You’ll cut the ribbon and share a glass of champagne with your family, friends and colleagues before embarking on the journey of your career with the Life Resolutions team.
